Welcome, thanks for being here.

Support and counselling services for the alt, the misfits, the dreamers, punks and the weirdos;

Because we all have a story that doesn’t fit the narrative.

This is more than a “safe space”; this is a real space. This is a space built for us, who challenge the dominant narratives and who want more than neutrality.

Offering virtual services to Ontario.

A space built for the people who often feel out of place in traditional spaces- the creatives, artists, service and nightlife workers, mystics, musicians, performers, after-hours thinkers, and everyone in between who keeps the city alive after dark.

Hi, I’m Ash

My core value is authenticity. Here is a raw glimpse into who I am-

My path to this work has been anything but traditional, shaped by years working late nights in hospitality, time spent as a freelance creative, and a deep love for Toronto’s music scene and counterculture communities. I witnessed firsthand the gaps in accessible and affordable mental health support for us, which led me to pursue social work as a way to bridge that divide.

I’m a lover of nature and the quiet magic the earth offers, rooted, wild, and ever-changing. You’ll find me collecting oddities and antiques, getting lost in books, adoring my cat and steeping tea from my little apothecary like a small daily ritual. I’m a warm, steady presence: a sober companion and fellow traveller, here to help you listen inward, tend what’s tender, and find your way back to yourself.

For most of my life, I hid my truths, carefully protecting my story and only offering pieces of it to a trusted few. I know the weight of living a double life shaped by shame, fear, and guilt. But there comes a time when we’re ready to stop carrying what was never ours to hold. I’m here to help you speak the words you’ve never had the space to say, out loud, and without apology.

This isn’t just a “safe space.” It’s a real one. Rooted in lived experience. Unmasked. Authenticity.

If you’ve never felt like therapy was for you, maybe this is the start of something different.

I look forward to learning and growing together.

With magick,

Ash, RSSW

A tabby cat with green eyes and white paws sitting on a glass table in front of a dark wooden shelf filled with decorative glass and stone objects.
Smiling woman with long dark wavy hair, wearing a beige blazer and earrings, sitting indoors with shelves and plants in the background.
A person with tattooed arms and legs is sitting cross-legged on the floor, holding their leg in their hand, with visible rings on their fingers, and wearing black boots, in a music rehearsal or recording studio. The studio has wooden flooring, black curtains, and shelves with musical instruments and equipment. In the background, there are band members setting up or adjusting their instruments, including a guitarist and a person with bunny ears headband.
A young woman with long dark hair, closed eyes, earrings, and a nose piercing, on a boat or ferry with water and cloudy sky in the background.
Close-up of various decorative items on a glass table, including a black ceramic teapot, a beige ceramic mug, a skull-shaped object, and other minerals and shells, with a background of white tiled wall, candles, and plants.
A mirror behind a bar with many upside-down wine glasses hanging from a rack above a counter. The bartender is reflected in the mirror, taking a photo with her phone. The bar is stocked with bottles and bar tools, and sunlight is coming through the window.

I’m inviting anyone who has been met with a shallow “it’s ok” from someone who’s never carried the weight behind those words.

Anyone who’s felt unseen, misread, or simply too tired of masking.

Maybe we don’t fit the textbook version of healing. Maybe we challenge the dominant narratives and want more than neutrality. Because sometimes it’s not enough to hear “no judgment”. We need someone who understands because they’ve lived it. Someone who tells the truth.

My Approach, Based on Real Life

Because of the many hats I’ve worn, and the people, places, and seasons that have shaped me, my approach is deeply relational, person-centred, and strengths-based. I offer a collaborative space grounded in anti-oppressive, anti-colonial, and feminist values, where your lived experience is honoured, and your voice stays at the centre of our work.

My areas of interest include mindfulness practices, CBT, and parts work, woven together with gentle, nature-inspired and holistic approaches. Together, we’ll tend to what’s heavy, awaken what’s resilient, and cultivate steadier roots - so you can move through life with more clarity, compassion, and choice.

I am a Registered Social Service Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, currently in my third year of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program. I currently offer trauma-informed support for processing difficult life experiences, emotional regulation, navigating sober curiosity, creating healthy coping strategies, identity exploration, strengthening boundaries, anxiety, low self-esteem, burnout, executive functioning, addressing perfectionism and most importantly, being a good listener.

As a student still on their own unique journey, I would be honoured if you would welcome me into yours.

Affordable Rates

No insurance? Low funds? Heck, me too!

As someone who has spent most of their life as a bartender in the industry or working as an event freelancer, I understand. Everyone deserves support. I want to help break those barriers.

That is why I meet you where you are at. I don’t do a traditional “sliding-scale” here; I offer genuinely reduced, accessible, and affordable rates designed with service-industry and gig workers in mind, like us, who are already struggling with expensive rent, groceries, and everything else this wonderful economy throws at us.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me; seeking support should be an open and collaborative discussion from the beginning.

I am here to support you.
